ABOUT INCLUSIVE LEADERSHIP LAB, LLC

1. Give us your organization’s quick origin story!

I’m a former Teacher, School Improvement Specialist, and Special Education Director. I also served as a Project Director for a project in Kansas, specializing in Teacher Recruitment and Retention statewide. Throughout those experiences, I saw common themes; teacher burnout keeps rising, and what we are doing to “solve” those challenges doesn’t seem to be scalable. I am a 6th-generation educator and the parent of 3 children, one of whom has Down Syndrome, so equitable access to education is near and dear to my heart. I wanted to do something to mitigate this problem and knew it had to be something dramatic and innovative. I also knew it had to be inclusive of all student populations and support the entire staff for it to work systemically.

2. What problem are you currently solving in the KC tech industry?

Teacher burnout is at an all-time high. Principals are often stretched too thin to provide the needed support. Inclusive Leadership Lab helps leadership teams build sustainable systems that retain staff, strengthen instruction, and restore a thriving school culture, using a combination of an innovative AI platform and a comprehensive support system of transformational leadership training.

3. What can we expect to see from your company/organization in the next year?

By year’s end, our advanced AI will have automated the most time-consuming administrative tasks, allowing educators to focus on nurturing students and school culture. This impact is magnified by our comprehensive support framework, designed to benefit everyone in the school system, from teachers and principals to support staff. Our innovations ensure high-quality, reliable processes, all while promoting a thriving and connected school community. We’re laying the groundwork for lasting excellence across every layer of the school experience.

4. How can KCTC members get more involved?

We are new to the KC area and would love to continue to build our network here! If you know someone involved in local school systems or are just interested in what we do, reach out, we’d love to connect!
