ABOUT SPOTLIGHT ANALYST RELATIONS

1. Give us your organization’s quick origin story!

In a previous life, our co-founders lost the biggest deal of their lives because industry analysts (think Gartner, Forrester) had no awareness of their company. So they started doing “Analyst Relations” and business took off from the results. So they quit their jobs and started Spotlight, a firm that does AR for hundreds of the world’s top tech vendors.

2. What problem are you currently solving in the KC tech industry?

We help leading technology vendors learn from and earn reputation with industry analysts, as well as improve their customer reviews in G2 and Gartner Peer Insights.

3. What can we expect to see from your company/organization in the next year?

Evolution of Spotlight toward Influence Orchestration: the holistic, proactive practice of shaping your company’s presence across every channel that LLMs trust.

4. How can KCTC members get more involved?

Support Girls on the Run — it’s our favorite charity and we’re often at their events. Got kids in college? Send them our way for internship consideration.
