ABOUT CHIEF OF STAFF
1. Give us your organization’s quick origin story!
Started in 2011, Chief of Staff was created to approach a stale industry in a more personable, genuine way. Our founder saw the need for a bridge builder between job seekers and companies due to the difficulty of forming authentic relationships in the job search process. As the company has grown over the years, we have developed a niche in placing professionals in contract, contract to hire, and direct hire opportunities. Our searches include professionals within the areas of Information Technology, Accounting & Finance, Sales & Marketing, HR, Administration, and Operations.
2. What problem are you currently solving in the KC tech industry?
For our clients we are solving talent shortages, lengthy hiring processes, high turnover and retention issues, quickly scaling workforce needs, lack of internal hiring expertise, and cost management to name a few. For IT professionals we solve career guidance needs including interviewing support and resume optimization, job market navigation, work flexibility, faster hiring process, and exposure to sometimes limited job opportunities.
3. What can we expect to see from your company/organization in the next year?
Exciting growth is underway at COS KC! In December, we launched a new IT division, backed by over 35 years of combined industry expertise. We’re eager to strengthen our relationships with existing clients and collaborate with industry experts to discover innovative ways to become a strategic partner—both now and in the future.
4. How can KCTC members get more involved?
The greatest compliment we can receive is a referral—whether it’s introducing us to companies in need of staffing solutions or individuals seeking new opportunities. With our diverse divisions, COS KC is uniquely positioned to support a wide range of individuals and businesses across the KC metro. Our expertise spans contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire roles in Accounting & Finance, Administrative, HR, IT, Marketing, Operations, and Sales.
