ABOUT LEVER1
1. Give us your organization’s quick origin story.
In 2012 Erica Brune was the Director of Operations and Partner of Blue Chair LLC. Her previous experiences had shown her the value of PEO’s and with the support of her Blue Chair partners she launched Lever1 a Kansas City based PEO supporting the small business community. Since that time Lever1 and Erica have been recognized as PEO experts, regularly speaking at National Events and leadership roles on National PEO boards. Lever1 is licensed in all 50 states and supports hundreds of clients across the country.
2. What problem are you currently solving in the KC tech industry?
Lever1 acts as an extension of your team by reducing the administrative burden of Human Resources, Payroll administration, Compliance, and Employee Benefits freeing business leaders to focus on revenue growth and strategic initiatives. In addition, we help companies reduce the cost and risk of employment through economies of scale and compliance.
3. What can we expect to see from your company/organization in the next year?
We currently support several KCTC members and we look forward to assisting many additional members in reducing costs of employee benefits, reducing risks associated with Human Resources and employee compliance and reducing administrative burden. Freeing them to focus on scaling their busines and revenue generating activities.
