KC Tech Council welcomes Fiserv Inc. to Kansas City 

KC Tech Council (KCTC) and other business and civic leaders recently helped officially welcome Fiserv Inc. to the Kansas City region. The Fortune 500 financial technology and services company plans to open a strategic fintech hub at the Aspiria Campus in Overland Park, Kansas, later this year.

For nearly 40 years, Fiserv has created financial solutions for thousands of financial institutions and millions of people and businesses. Fiserv is expected to bring about 2,000 technology and operations-related jobs to the local tech community.

“We are thrilled to expand our U.S. footprint, bringing our people together to drive innovation on behalf of our clients,” Fiserv CEO Frank Bisignano said in a recent Kansas City Business Journal article, which can be read here. Please note that a subscription may be required.

KCTC partnered with Kansas Gov. Laura Kelly, the Kansas Department of Commerce, the Kansas City Area Development Council and others in helping to bring Fiserv to the metro area.
