ABOUT VANTRUST REAL ESTATE
1. Give us your organization’s quick origin story.
Our company was formed out of a partnership between our CEO, Dave Harrison, and Kansas City business icon Cecil Van Tuyl. Over the years, that relationship evolved into our partnership with his son Larry Van Tuyl and the rest of the Van Tuyl family.
2. What problem are you currently solving in the KC tech industry?
We aim to create great real estate with enduring value for those in the tech industry, while building a brighter, most sustainable future for our community.
3. What can we expect to see from your company/organization in the next year?
We will continue to expand our local and national presence within the life sciences, mission critical, healthcare, and science + technology real estate sectors.

1. If your office was The Office, what character would you be?
I would like to think I’m Jim Halpert, but there is probably some Michael Scott, and definitely a bit of Creed Bratton, mixed in there too.
2. What’s an app you can’t live without?
It isn’t exciting, but honestly it is Outlook.
3. What’s your favorite hidden gem in Kansas City?
Guy and Mae’s.
4. What technology tip are you always giving your clients?
I am a big fan of using AI tools as a collaborative thinking partner that helps me solve problems, test ideas, and communicate more clearly.
