KC TECH COUNCIL LAUNCHES “TECH FOR TEACHERS”, REIMBURSEMENT FUND FOR CLASSROOM TECH TOOL
The KC Tech Council has launched a fund to reimburse teachers for tech-related expenses they’ve personally made for their classrooms. Tech for Teachers will help alleviate that financial burden that many teachers face.
The program invites any K-12 teacher in the Kansas City metropolitan area to share a receipt from a tech-related item that they personally purchased for their classroom for use this school year. Purchases must be made in the time prior to August 31, 2021 and after the conclusion of the 2020-21 school year.
Upon submitting the purchase, the KC Tech Council will review and personally reimburse as many teachers for qualified purchases via @Venmo or @Paypal as are received. At this time, teachers will be reimbursed for one purchase, though additional funds may become available.
