KCTC Welcomes New Board Member, Neal Schwartz

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (February 9th, 2024) – We're thrilled to announce that WellSky Chief Information Officer Neal Schwartz will be joining the KC Tech Council Board of Directors. With over 25 years of experience in healthcare operations and consulting, Schwartz brings a wealth of knowledge to our group of industry leaders.

About Neal Schwartz

Neal is a Healthcare Operations and Consulting Executive with experience leading large-scale organizations, driving key business operations and exceeding bottom line results in healthcare information technology (HIT) environments. His successful client satisfaction outcomes generating long term client relationships, increased efficiencies, driving optimal team performance, and realizing value achievement in private equity managed and Fortune 500 companies are key attributes that are highlights of his.

Neal joined WellSky in January 2022, bringing over 25 years of consulting, operational, and executive leadership experience to the company.  Neal oversees daily operations for Engineering Operations, defining goals and metrics while creating a culture of continuous improvement and teammate efficiencies through various programs within his portfolio.

Most recently, Neal served as Senior Vice President of symplr, a global health care governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) firm based in Houston, TX.  He was responsible for all client success and professional services operations on behalf of over 2000 clients worldwide.  Previously, Neal was Chief Operating Officer at MedeAnalytics where he oversaw all technology, operational, client and corporate governance functions.  Neal’s longest tenure was at Cerner Corporation where he oversaw the management of Cerner's Worldwide Consulting Operations and Vice President of Client Operations for CernerWorks (remote hosting business) and held leadership roles at Perfect Commerce and Arrow Electronics. Neal earned his MBA with a specialization in Operations Management from Cleveland State University and a BS in Public Affairs and Management from Indiana University, Bloomington.
