ABOUT ANALYTIC MARKETING INNOVATIONS
1. Give us your organization’s quick origin story!
Analytic Marketing Innovations (AMI) was formed twelve years ago by corporate veterans that were eager to strike out on their own in order to bring data science and analytic toolkits to a broader audience. Our clients are large and small, and all take advantage of our automated modeling tools, proprietary attribution algorithms, and custom exploratory data analyses to help solve problems.
2. What problem are you currently solving in the KC tech industry?
We help our clients grow their own data analytics solutions, through advising on team structures and skills, and in some cases, mentoring. We create relationships that start with our expertise, but are intended to transition to supporting the client's ability to reach their own launch point.
3. What can we expect to see from your company/organization in the next year?
We have prototyped and tested a toolkit that measures the economic impact of extreme weather events on a county by county basis in the United States. We plan to expand its data foundation and continuously enhance its capabilities in the next year.
4. How can KCTC members get more involved?
Conversations are always welcome. Our business has reached a point where we, as owners, are less driven by a relentless drumbeat to fill a pipeline, and more by finding interesting people and businesses to learn from, and to help if we can.

ABOUT CHRISTOPHER SCHULTZ
1. If your office was The Office, what character would you be?
In my corporate career as a director, I was more Michael than I want to admit, but since we became independent I have empowered my inner Dwight to shine through.
2. What’s an app you can’t live without?
We're a small team, and don't use a ton of work assist apps beyond our toolkits. Personally, I am enthusiastic about Threads, as an alternative to X.
3. What’s your favorite hidden gem in Kansas City?
Hobby Haven at 105th and Metcalf feeds my inner radio controlled nerd.
4. What technology tip are you always giving your clients?
Start with the tools you have. People in your company are more likely to use tools they know, and we can't tell you how many times we've seen miraculous new software that promises nirvana, and delivers the DMV. We don't sell software.
